Burger King Texican Whopper - What Do You Really Think About It?
I personally find this advert funny. Is there anything that doesn't offend us anymore? Maybe it's just me but like I try to teach my kids you are who you believe you are, what do I mean by that is just that simple there are always going to be people and groups telling you what you should do how to do it and when to do it, but ultimately it's up to us the individual to make those choices and set the standards of living for our self’s first and foremost, so it's just that simple what do you really think about it? And when your true to yourself the answer is that clear how did you feel about it before you where intoxicated by the thoughts of everyone else. Do Not Follow Where The Path May Lead. Go Where There Is No Path... And Leave A Trail. As for me I sure hope to see one of these burgers out soon it makes my mouth water, but come to think about it I don't know what I am waiting for truth be told I am Texican so I think I’ll just go make my own, lol lol lol

It's Been A While.
Well it's been about a month since I posted anything on here, Keeping busy with work and family activities.
Kaitlyn has been very active in school she has joined drama class, tried out for the cheerleader squad, joined the rock club and basketball team at her school it has been a busy but fun year for her at school and it's only mid March.
Chris is out of the air-soft gun phase but has quickly joined the Paintball one, after investing hundreds of dollars in his air-soft collection he has now began his collection of paintball guns, we have visited several stores and have been to the paintball park twice already it has been really fun I have really enjoyed the time with him. With his birthday coming up he is all excited to be getting his drivers license he already had his driving permit that restricted him to be with a full licensed driver 21 years of age.
Stephanie's life has had many changes in the last few months the most significant one was giving autumn’s dad Angel another opportunity to be the man she feels he can be. He got a one bedroom apartment in a nice area and Stephanie, Angel and Autumn are making a go at a new start, they are always in my prayers and I ask God to bless them, it's not going to be easy and I should know a thing or two about hardship and second chances we all deserve to be happy even if it's on the second or third time around. She also has been showing interest in going back to college as for now she is working with me part-time and what can I say about my beautiful baby granddaughter Autumn a true blessing and I just love her and miss her so when she is not around, I enjoy looking at her how excited she get's when her mom gets back from work that look in her face when she see's Stephanie, all smiles and laughter for her mommy.
Mercedes loves school and being with her friends she especially loved it when we went to the Ranch at my brother-in-law Manuel's she had a blast riding the four wheelers and since then has kept asking me when am I going to buy here a four wheeler. She loves to sing on the karaoke on the Xbox 360 and she is very competitive she does not like to lose not one bit.
Maria has been busier than ever she is always doing one thing or another or cleaning something or taking the kids somewhere or doing favors for others, were she gets all that energy and then she still has to put up with me.
I am truly blessed God is good his mercy and grace is poured out to us.

Terms & Conditions
Eligibility Requirements
The following conditions must be satisfied and agreed to in order for your application to be accepted.
1. You must be 18 years of age or over as at 1st January 2009.
2. The successful applicant will be required to undertake activities and tasks which require excellent physical and mental health. Therefore, if shortlisted you must submit to physical and psychological examinations by Tourism Queensland selected medical professionals and meet all physical and psychological requirements.
3. You must be of good moral character and not be under the influence of any medication, drugs or other substance which may impair your ability to undertake your employment responsibilities. By applying for this position, you authorise Tourism Queensland to conduct civil, criminal, financial, driver-history and other background checks deemed necessary by Tourism Queensland.
4. You must be willing to be employed by Tourism Queensland or its nominee, for a period of six months pursuant to an employment agreement and otherwise act in accordance with the reasonable directions of Tourism Queensland during the employment period.
5. If you are shortlisted by Tourism Queensland for an interview, you must be willing and able to travel to Queensland for approximately one week to be interviewed at a time as scheduled by Tourism Queensland for the final selection process. Interviews are expected to occur in early May 2009. Economy travel (return to and from the interview destination and the airport in your closest capital city) and hotel accommodation (in Australia) will be arranged and paid for by Tourism Queensland. Tourism Queensland recommends that all shortlisted interviewees obtain comprehensive travel insurance (at their own expense) prior to attending interviews.
6. Applicants must be eligible for a short term business visa to Australia for the interview event and a Temporary Business Long Stay visa for the employment period. For business visa information visit www.immi.gov.au/skilled.
7. You must be willing to participate in a formal interview and various activities during the interview process. Activities may include team challenges, physical, skill based and aptitude tests.
8. Tourism Queensland shall be entitled to use your application, name, likeness, appearance, voice and biographical information for its promotional and publicity purposes.
9. Your involvement in the selection process and your employment is entirely at your own risk. You agree to release Tourism Queensland and its nominees, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, and all others connected with the selection process and your employment, from any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, in any way arising out of or resulting from your involvement in the selection process and your employment, including, without limitation, any and all claims, actions, and liabilities for injury, loss or damage to you, to anyone else or to any property, regardless of whether or not such injury, loss or damage was caused by the negligence or misconduct of Tourism Queensland, its nominees or any of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives or employees, or anyone else connected with the selection process and your employment. You agree to indemnify Tourism Queensland and its nominees and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, and all others connected with the project and hold them harmless from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, expenses and losses (including, without limitation, legal fees) of any kind or nature whatsoever in any way caused by or arising out of your involvement in the selection process and your employment.
10. Shortlisted candidates will behave in an appropriate and professional manner as befitting their potential representation of Tourism Queensland.
11. Any inappropriate, illegal or immoral behaviour on the part of the shortlisted candidates will result in immediate exclusion from the selection process.
12. All applicants will be subscribed to receive email communications from Tourism Queensland.
13. The closing date for applications is 22nd February 2009, however this date may be brought forward at Tourism Queensland’s discretion should more than 30,000 applications be received.
Employment Conditions
The successful applicant will be required to enter into an employment agreement incorporating the following conditions. All applicants must confirm their acceptance of these conditions.
1. You must be available for a six month employment period from 1 July 2009 to 31 December 2009. However if unforeseen circumstances arise you may withdraw from the employment contract after a minimum of 3 months, in which case the salary will be paid pro rata up until employment ceases. It is an employment requirement that you are to reside in Queensland, Australia for the extent of your employment under this contract.
2. You are responsible for making any necessary arrangements with your employer and family in anticipation of an extended absence from home.
3. Employment responsibilities will include the following:
· Providing weekly internet updates/blogs;
· Travel to various Islands of the Great Barrier Reef as required;
· Represent Tourism Queensland at various functions;
· Be an Islands of the Great Barrier Reef ‘Ambassador’ and participate in media interviews as required;
· Act responsibly at all times and in accordance with the reasonable directions of Tourism Queensland.
4. During the employment period, you must:
· Reside on the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef for the period of your employment contract maximum 6 months, minimum 3 months
· Act responsibly and demonstrate good moral character.
Should these requirements not be met, Tourism Queensland shall be entitled to terminate the employment agreement at its absolute discretion.
5. You must be willing and able to participate in the various tourist activities available on the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef, including but not limited to sailing, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, island picnics and bushwalking.
6. The gross wage of AUD$150,000 is inclusive of superannuation, allowances, benefits and an amount of applicable income tax will be withheld. The wage will be paid on a fortnightly basis during the period of employment.
7. Accommodation will be provided by Tourism Queensland or its nominee during the period of employment. However, you will be responsible for the cost of all meals, beverages, utilities such as water, electricity, telephone and personal items.
8. The employee, as a representative of Tourism Queensland, will act in an appropriate and professional manner and not engage in any activity or undertaking which brings disrepute or cause damage of reputation to Tourism Queensland.
9. The employee will exercise reasonable skill, care and diligence in the performance of the services in accordance with the standards of Tourism Queensland
10. Tourism Queensland will own all intellectual property in reports, diaries, blogs, photos and other material created by the employee in the course of their employment.
11. Tourism Queensland reserves the right to monitor and edit material produced by the employee in line with its corporate communication and marketing guidelines.

Australia Dreaming!
I woke up this morning with just a little over four hours of sleep!
And as I proceeded to do my daily ritual, there it was as I looked at the headline on my browser, I was blown away, and I doubt there is anyone left! Of the people that I know whom I have just continually overstated over and over again my desire to move to Australia it has always been a long desire and dream of mine to do so. And today here it is the opportunity of a lifetime. The perfect trip not just to make the trip to Australia but to get to live there for six awesome months and get paid while your there wow! Since I read the column I have just gone crazy and have been trying to get on the page to file my application but the link is getting hammered with hits and all I get is a error message why am I not surprised can you imagine millions all around the world that are applying! Well pray for me this would truly be one experience of a lifetime and a great vacation. What an opportunity and a great challenge this would be. Just this week I have been working on an acronym that would define the way I will approach this New Year.

Australia offers 'best job in world' on paradise island

SYDNEY (AFP) – An Australian state is offering internationally what it calls "the best job in the world" -- earning a top salary for lazing around a beautiful tropical island for six months.
The job pays 150,000 Australian dollars (105,000 US dollars) and includes free airfares from the winner's home country to Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland's state government announced on Tuesday.
In return, the "island caretaker" will be expected to stroll the white sands, snorkel the reef, take care of "a few minor tasks" -- and report to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries and video updates.
The successful applicant, who will stay rent-free in a three-bedroom beach home complete with plunge pool and golf buggy, must be a good swimmer, excellent communicator and be able to speak and write English.
"They'll also have to talk to media from time to time about what they're doing so they can't be too shy and they'll have to love the sea, the sun, the outdoors," said acting state Premier Paul Lucas.
"The fact that they will be paid to explore the islands of the Great Barrier Reef, swim, snorkel and generally live the Queensland lifestyle makes this undoubtedly the best job in the world."
Lucas said the campaign was part of a drive to protect the state's 18 billion Australian dollar a year tourism industry during the tough economic climate caused by the global financial meltdown.
"Traditional tourism advertising just doesn't cut it sometimes and we are thinking outside the box by launching this campaign."
Queensland Tourism Minister Desley Boyle said some people might question whether it was risky to let an unknown person become an unofficial tourism spokesperson for the state.
"I think the biggest risk will be that the successful candidate won't want to go home at the end of the six months," she said.
"This is a legitimate job which is open to anyone and everyone."
Applications are open until February 22. Eleven shortlisted candidates will be flown to Hamilton Island in early May for the final selection process and the six month contract will commence on July 1.

iPhone Pro and iPhone Elite Concepts Hit the Web…
In case you haven’t seen it yet, the above concept image is the ‘iPhone Pro’ whipped up by the folks at Gizmodo in response to an ‘iPhone Elite’ concept image created by fellow blogger Mat Brady. The new device would have 60GB of storage, a front-facing 1MP camera for iChat PLUS a higher quality camera for regular shots. There would be a real 16:9 aspect ratio, video capability built-in… and perhaps the most notable feature of this concept… The slide-out keyboard.
Now, I can hear all of the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) die-hards out there saying that an iPhone ’slider’ will never happen… and honestly, I’m there with you. I have a hard time seeing how Apple could ‘go back’ to an actual physical keyboard after having set the scene for virtual touchscreen inputs. However… If you think about it from a different angle, maybe it’s not so bad?
Perhaps the biggest appeal the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) has over the iPhone in the business world is it’s physical, tactile keyboard. Most Berry users swear by it, and can’t stand the form or function of the virtual touchscreen text input found on the current iPhone 3G. What if Apple combined the best of both worlds, providing the same, slick touchscreen interface and OS with a new physical QWERTY keyboard in a slider form for the business folk to use? Don’t you think that type of device would take a bigger chunk of the business user market in comparison to the current iPhone 3G setup? I think it would. Perhaps Apple should/could even brand the new device as the ‘iPhone Business’ or something along those lines. For those that just have to have the Berry-ish keyboard to punch out those quick emails on the go.
Whether or not this actually becomes a reality is yet to be seen, but thankfully time will tell us the answer. It always does. I have a feeling that we will NOT see anything like this for some time, at least not until Apple can iron out production costs on such a unit until prices for the device would reach a reasonable point that business users (and others) would be able to swallow.
The concept is certainly something to think about. I wonder what is going on at Apple’s 1 Infinate Loop address in Cupertino… Where are those new iPhone plans Apple? Want to shoot them over this way!?

Hello Everyone!
Sorry that I have been a bit slow in posting pictures and family updates. I have been hit with the sloth bug here lately “cough” “cough”; the good news is I think I'm getting over it. lol lol lol, well onto bigger and brighter news Autumn is one month and seven days old now and just keeps getting more beautiful everyday.
